Afternoon dress, designed by Charles Frederick Worth (Britain/France, 1825–1895) for the House of Worth, Paris, circa 1875, composed of a cuirass type bodice with fitted sleeves, of dark blue and gold silk in a woven fish scale pattern, above a mint green silk bustle dress and asymmetric apron, self trimmed with bows, buttons, and pleated ruffles, terminating to a train executed in the navy and gold silk trimmed with lace. - Metropolitan Museum of Art
